Friends for a looong time

When I was still a teenager, I came to the US to study. I was introduced to a girl who would go to the same high school as me and that she actually became one of my dearest friends. We just got along right away and still today, 17 years later, our friendship continues. She invited me to her home during our 10th year high school reunion and has been here 3 other times. She got to meet my husband and enjoy his paella! and met Luca too when he was a baby. She visited us recently and it was just like every other time, great friends!

Cuando aún tenía menos de 18 años, vine a EEUU a estudiar. Me presentaron a una chica que iría al mismo instituto que yo y que de hecho se convirtió en una de mis mejores amigas. Nos llevamos bien desde el principio y aún hoy, 17 años después, nuestra amistad continua. Me invitó a su casa cuando tuvimos la reunión de 10 años del instituto y ha estado aquí otras 3 veces. Llego a conocer a mi marido y ¡disfrutó de su paella! y conoció a Luca también cuando era un bebe. Nos visitó hace poco y fue como cada otra vez, ¡gran amistad!

I told her I would make her a bag of her liking and she choose the fabrics from my stash and this is what I came up with. She enjoyed the colors and I was so happy to make it just to her taste! She in return, decided to organize my sewing corner because I as told her, my organization gene is not existant hahaha! And not only she did a great job, she also gave me tips to continue with this organization in the future. This is a science and needs to be taught, and I am already organizing other corners of my home, it makes me proud of myself and very happy! Thank you so much Robin!

Le dije que le haría una bolsa como le gustara y eligió las telas de mi montón y esto es lo que hice. Le gustaban los colores ¡y yo felíz de poderle hacer algo de su gusto! Ella a cambio decidió organizarme mi mesa de costura porque como le dije, mi gen de organización no existe ¡jajaja! Y no solo lo hizo super bien, además me dio consejos de cómo mantenerlo así en un futuro. Esto es una ciencia y necesita ser enseñada, y ya estoy organizando otros rincones de la casa, me hace sentirme orgullosa conmigo misma ¡y muy feliz! ¡Muchas gracias Robin!
