We are welcoming the Easter holiday with lots of rain and thunderstorms and cold!! It makes me sad that the beautiful tulips that surround every corner of this city are being destroyed by the winds and rain. I guess you just have to enjoy the beauty of spring while it lasts because it doesn't last long!

Estamos dando la bienvenida a las vacaciones de semana santa con mucha lluvia y tomentas y frio!! Me da rabia que los tulipanes tan bonitos que abundan en cada rincon de esta ciudad sean destruidos por el viento y la lluvia. Supongo que lo que hay que hacer es disfrutar de la primavera mientras dure porque dura poquisimo!
Just a few days ago I was enjoying my new grill with my friends in a nice pleasant Sunday afternoon. Thinking about my photography course that I am about to start, I kept on taking interesting pictures that would give a glimpse of what was going on around me. This is what I got.
Hace unos pocos dias estamos disfrutando con mis amigos de una tarde de domingo muy agusto estrenando mi nueva barbacoa. Como me acordaba que pronto voy a empezar mi curso de fotografia, empece a tomar fotos interesantes de lo que me rodeaba, para dar una pequenha idea de lo que pasa a mi alreadedor. Esto es lo que saque.

happy easter to the two of you and was hoping you are safe. heard about the weather and what happened in St. Louis at the airport today. I left st. louis last yr. at this time...just before my brother died. He lived many years in StL. and I was there to take care of him along with his sons. I remember him saying most storms were in the county and my brother lived in the city proper.
Thank you for you comments and concerns. We are fine, it is scary with the tornadoes and really not knowing what to do (other than going into the closet) and one can never expect a tornado will affect us...but you never know... I am sorry to hear about your brother and I am sending you a big hug!

Nosotros hemos pasado toda la semana visitando Asturias, ... hacia tantisimo tiempo que no ibamos, 14 años,... Esa tierra es preciosa, nos lo hemos pasado muy bien y hemos visto muchas cosas, hemos disfrutado. Ahora toca seguir....
