I had to learn how to make the embroidery stitch that looks like a "U" and that I used around the flower petals. The embroidery floss makes things much nicer than just regular thread. I think I will use it to make the face features of my imaginary stuffed animals.

I am the lucky recipient of this beautiful bag. It was a gift given to me by a good friend that I had not seen in years. I absolutely love the bag. I especially love the colors used on the bag, as blue and green are my favorite colors. The bag was put to great use during my travels because like most people, I came home with more stuff than I left with. This bag is a very special gift to me, as I know it took a lot of time and effort to make it. I will always think of my friend when I use it. Gracias Amiga!
i am so sad... i was carrying wine in my wonderful bag, which was apparently too heavy for the bag and the strap broke. i am going to take it to a professional sewer to fix it so i can begin to use it again.
