Ten Thousand Villages

This is the coolest table hot pad I have ever seen. It's made out of newspaper rolled and glued and then tied up with cords. I think it is made in the Philippines or somewhere around there. I got this from my in laws, who always bring us really cool things from this store called Ten Thousand Villages. I found the hot mat online here. This shop buys crafts from around the world and sells the products at a fair price that will be received by the artisans. It's not expensive and they really have many interesting things.
