Luquita is 2!

Mi little baby is no baby anymore. Two years ago my mom, my husband and I went to the hospital with our bags to get ready to meet this special boy. Then his other grandparents arrived and we waited and waited and waited patiently and excited to the arrival of this baby...25 hours later. His dad and I welcomed this baby with tears in the operation room, just his soft cry made us cry. And he continues today having that same soft way of crying, some things haven't changed.

Mi pequenhin ya no es un bebe. Hace dos anhos mi mami, mi marido y yo nos fuimos al hospital con nuestras bolsas preparados para recibir a este ninho tan especial. Entonces llegaron sus otros abuelos y esperamos y esperamos y esperamos pacientemente y emocionados la llegada de este bebe....25 horas despues. Su papa y yo dimos la bienvenida a este beb con lagrimas en la sala de operaciones, simplemente el oir su llanto tan suave nos hizo llorar. Y hoy continua teniendo ese llanto suave, algunas cosas no han cambiado.


We had two celebrations. In the second one, this is how we all sang in sign language happy birthday to him. It was really special.

Tuvimos dos celebraciones. En la segunda, asi es como todos cantamos el cumpleanhos feliz con el lenguage de las senhas. Fue muy especial.
