Little bags

I am going to see my sister and her daughters in a few days. I am very excited about it since it's once again a happy family reunion, the American representation.
I have been working on crafts like crazy these days because I would like to surprise them with something, just a little something for all the girls.
I made these two pouches, one for my niece, because she got a toy cash register from her new baby sister and she is busy buying and selling stuff all day. I thought a little purse to carry her money around would be just necessary. And since they are in New Mexico and they have been to the balloon fiesta in Albuquerque, I thought she would like this fabric.

The other bag I am not saying who will it be for. It is just more grown up. I initially bought these fabrics to make one for myself, I love them! Love the brown-lime green combination, and love the two different patterns combined. I am happy with how it looks, I hope she likes it…

And I would like to share some pictures of our front garden. My husband is so good with plants! He makes sure it looks beautiful all year long. Pretty flowers and showy foliage.

Flores bonitas y hojas vistosas.

Another lovely one.. If I see how fast you produce the different items, people get the wrong idea this is an easy job :)

You did so well on my wristlet, I see you're making more. I wanted to let you know I took mine out with me on Friday night and it held my camera, my phone, lip balm, credit cards and tissue pouch perfectly. Thanks again! :)

Clarita's bag is so colorful. It looks beautiful, I am sure she will love it. Are you stuffing it with money for her to spend?
And the green/brown is wonderful. It is my favorite among all your wristlets.

Given that you want to surprise them, your sister and her daughters, they must be about the only ones not having access to your nice blog. The pouches look good, even to two non-experiended male eyes.

You guys deserve to win the garden contest again. You have such a beautiful garden. How do you keep the plants so green and colorful during these dry days?

The bags are really cute and I love the zip closure, keeps everything in.
Your garden is just amazing: I particularly like that picture showing all the different greens mixed up.
