In real life

Last week I meet two people who caused an impression on me. This doesn't happen every day, or every week or every month. It's a rare event and I celebrate it and appreciate it. One of these two people was someone I had seen for days and thought looked like an interesting person. I was right indeed. More than I had thought about and I hope we can get to talk some more in the future because I feel that it is quite enriching talking to people so different, unexpected and refreshingly interesting. The other one was a random person that I met in the street. Our sons made the connection and then we had a brief conversation but was important enough to make me think about new things that had never occured to me. Again, so refresing and enriching.
Sometimes we get through life without major changes, we sail through things and situations that we know and make us comfortable without getting to grow much, just sailing through the days. I am the kind of person that needs that novelty in my life in order to keep on growing. That's maybe why I studied for so many years and I didn't feel like settling into a comfortable and more predictable life. In the short term I like predictable, but with splashes of new experiences and new people. These two people brought me hope and reminded me that they are out there and that it is still possible to run into that kind of people any day.

It is hard to meet people, especially the nice and interesting ones. You are lucky, making 2 friends on the same week. I wish you have a long and fruitful friendship!
